About

UTIRIS is the first iris biometric databank registered in two distinct sessions of Visible Wavelength (VW) and Near InfraRed (NIR) imaging during  June 2007. The database is constructed with 1540 images from 79 individuals from both right and left eyes demonstrated in 158 classes in total. The Database is a copyright of Control and Intelligent Processing Centre of Excellence (CIPCE) at School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) in the University of Tehran.

    data of pupil center in infrared images are not present in zip file?

      Hi Christian, the acquired imaging system does not provide you with such data and I believe this should be estimated on the post-processing end. Thank you 🙂

      Hi Alexis! thanks you for your comment. The distance of camera lens from the individual’s eye-face is about 30~40 cm. This is the distance I set for the data acquisition design.
